Hello, I am a 22-year-old boy who has lately begun his diet journey. I am overweight and wish to lose weight, particularly in the stomach area. I was wondering if you have any decent weight loss recipes that included chicken; if not, that’s great. If you have any suggestions on this trip, please let me know. I’m also going to the gym and drinking water, leaving the sugary drinks behind. Any comment is much appreciated by me. Thank you!
What do you mean when you say “recipe good for weight loss”? You may lose weight using any recipe; simply eat less of it. Take your regular dinner, but store half for tomorrow. That is pretty much the essence of reducing weight.
There are plenty wonderful chicken recipes available online. Cooking chicken in the oven or pan is simple, and it may be as simple as slathering it in curry sauce for a quick meal.
Yes. Weigh the items, keep track of your calories, and eat in a deficit. The vegetables will have a much lower calorie density than the chicken, so make sure you use a lot of them in the meal.
Salad: chicken breast, lettuce (you may also add spinach, etc.), and cucumber. Include some tomato or fruit (apple, berries, mango, etc.). Use a low-calorie dressing - I like Maple Grove’s sugar-free raspberry vinergerette, which has 5 calories per 30 mL.
Chicken fajitas - serve with 70-calorie Mission CarbBalance tortillas and a side of vegetables.
Chicken served with brown rice, roast potatoes (or sweet potatoes), and a green vegetable. You could also make mashed potatoes.
Chicken with zoodles and spaghetti sauce.
I prepare chicken and vegetable soup on a regular basis; it’s basically low sodium chicken broth with shredded baked/air-fried chicken breast and any vegetables I have on hand. I also used to put in precooked brown rice or pasta, but I just switched to riced cauliflower. My favourite seasoning combination is jalapeño and ginger, but adding taco seasoning and salsa transforms it into a tortilla soup alternative.
