I weigh 177 lbs and I’m 166 cm tall. I want to get down to around 160 lbs in just a week. I know it’s not the healthiest idea, but is it even possible? What kind of food, portions, or routines would I need to follow to make it happen?
Maybe if you cut off a limb?
To lose 15 lbs in a week at your weight, you’d need to eat less than nothing and run a marathon every day. It’s not just unhealthy, it’s pretty much impossible.

If your base metabolic rate is around 2000 calories and you burn 100 calories per mile, you’d need to eat nothing and run 40 miles a day. Even then, that’s extreme and not realistic at all.
@Lux
I lost 10 pounds in about 3 and a half days before, and I was still eating. I was burning between 1100-1600 calories a day.
You could try fasting for a week, but losing 15 lbs that quickly won’t all be fat; it’ll include muscle and water weight too. Is it possible? Maybe. Healthy? Not really. The real question is: why do you want to do this?
@Sam
I’ve got an event next Thursday and Friday, and I need to improve my endurance for it. Losing some weight would help.

If you lose that much weight, you’ll probably be too exhausted to have the endurance you’re aiming for.
There’s no way to lose that much weight in such a short time. It’s just not possible.

I managed to lose 10 lbs in just 3 days a while ago and kept it off. I was eating 1200 calories and burning 1600 daily.
That’s extreme. How will you keep it off afterward? Plus, how will you have the energy to work out or even get through your day?
Not a healthy approach at all.
