Does walking reduce weight?

Recently, I’ve been walking 10,000 steps a day, and I’ve noticed that I’m losing weight. Despite quitting smoking weed a few months ago (which didn’t significantly impact my weight), the consistent walking seems to be making a difference. I also attempted a 1200-calorie diet, but it was challenging to maintain. I suspect that the walking has been more effective than my previous workouts, especially since I have a desk job. Has anyone else experienced weight loss from consistent walking?

Walking helped me lose 140 pounds, and I’ve kept it off. I’ve got more to lose, but it’s been hard to get off my ass.

You know me for me walking is my main form of exercise, and I’ve lost 115 lbs so far.

So long as you check on your calorie intake it works remember weight loss is not possible without considering your calorie intake personally walking worked for me at 6000 steps a day

Yeah caloric deficit is the most important factor when it comes to weight loss doesnt matter how active you are
