Fasting with only breakfast and dinner?

Does this work for fasting? The recommended conventional timetables just do not work with my job schedule, but I have discovered that my ADHD medication causes me to lose my appetite during the day. I’ve always battled with lunch and feel it’s forced. But would eating between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. count as fasting?

I was monitoring macros, but it led to some extremely unhealthy eating behaviours (actually crying because one apple would put me over my carb limit, and I need to stop that).

You must eat to lose weight! It is just you that counts! If you feel hungry when you get up, you could eat your largest meal in the morning. A smaller lunchtime meal. Then a little meal at night. Alternatively, you can reverse this. When I was trying to lose weight, I tried to stick to about 1300 calories. I did not consume junk foods such as sweets, cookies, potato chips, and sodas. Make your calories work for you by eating real meals! In the morning, I’d have blueberries, muesli, or a scrambled egg with coffee. I have low blood sugar, so I would occasionally eat a V-8 and celery sticks in between meals. Since I had to diet, I have learned that it is beneficial to go 5 hours between meals, so that is what I do now. If I were dieting now, I would add a piece of toast to my breakfast to ensure my not get hungry too soon.

This is why fasting does not work!

When trying to reduce weight, most people feel compelled to achieve the best results in the shortest amount of time feasible. However, when determining which diet is most effective for you, this is typically not the best strategy to weight loss.

Instead of fasting, choose a diet that works for you and stick to it.

It is termed intermittent fasting. 16:8 - you miss breakfast and eat only inside an 8-hour window - some people do brunch and set the windows from 10-11 a.m. to 6-7 p.m. Others will wait till lunch and create the timeframe 12-1-8-9. Some people keep shorter windows, having lunch and an early meal by five p.m. and then fasting until the next day. According to research, it is helpful in the short term for weight loss, insulin sensitivity, and, if you are already diabetic, glycaemic management. Some diabetics experience remission. This is because those long periods of fasting provide your body with a reprieve from elevated insulin levels, forcing it to tap into reserve energy stores to meet its energy needs.

Yes, no, and impossible.

Yes, because the ratio of fibre to complex carbs allows you to lose weight by keeping you full for longer periods of time without overloading your system with simple carbs and processed sugars, both of which contribute to fat accumulation.

No, since, while muesli is beneficial, it cannot provide your body with all of the vitamins, minerals, and other substances it requires to function properly.

Not possible because your body/brain will reject consuming the same thing repeatedly eternally. This is why long-term/emergency food providers include a variety of menu options in their packages. Your physiology is designed for the most diverse diet in the animal kingdom. It is one of the most significant factors that allowed mankind to exist.

What do you have for dinner? Is this a big meal? Is it totally healthy? Many people skip breakfast and lunch because they believe it would benefit them, and then binge in the evening. Eating only one meal per day would also significantly reduce your metabolism and the quantity of energy available for workout.

Are you healthy? Are you getting adequate nutrients and no signs of malnutrition? Have you have enough energy to get through the day? Are you usually in a good mood? Are you losing weight at a healthy and sustainable rate of no more than two pounds per week?

If so, that’s fine. Humans are adaptive; some eat breakfast, while others do not.

If the answer to any of the above questions is no, then your diet plan isn’t working for you.

You should focus on your entire daily calorie intake. If you could eat a healthy breakfast with fewer than 500 calories but cannot eat a meal with fewer than 800 calories, it makes more sense to skip dinner rather than breakfast. Another thing to consider: if you skip breakfast, will you gorge at lunch? Or do you eat unhealthy snacks before lunch? Then the total for the day could be higher.

Eating muesli for every meal may help you lose weight because it is low in calories and high in fibre, but it is not a long-term or healthy option. Consuming a limited variety of foods might lead to dietary deficiencies and potentially impair your health in the long run. Furthermore, consuming muesli for every meal may not deliver enough protein and healthy fats to meet your body’s requirements. A well-balanced and diverse diet rich in fruits and vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats is a more effective way to achieve and maintain a healthy weight.

Yes, and you may become ill if you follow this plan for more than a few days (I won’t call it a diet since it isn’t; it’s a foolish plan).

And as soon as you start eating something other than breakfast, you will gain weight again, probably more than you did at the start, because your body will continue to accumulate all of the nutrients it was lacking while fasting.

It’s a horrible concept and not encouraged at all; no nutritionist, doctor, physical trainer, or anybody else with even a passing knowledge of health and nutrition will recommend this notion of yours.

I’m not sure about that; I believe it depends on how much you need to lose. From my experience, the best diet I went on was eating every 3 hours high protein low carbs, i would have a protein shake right after getting up, then i ate 2 eggs and a piece of low carb bread, then i would have a rice cake with peanut butter on it, then a protein bar, i would hit the gym at least four times a week for lunch, and then 3 hours later (keep in mind I was eating small amounts,)

Skipping breakfast is an easy decision, but will you be hungry at supper and eat more than usual?

I believe that skipping breakfast or intermittent fasting are excellent techniques to reduce your food intake, but there is no substitute for eating nutritious meals in moderation, getting adequate sleep and water, exercising regularly, and so on.

The way I see it, we are not made for this modern society; it confuses me why we live like this; desk jobs are the new cancer these days. Your “overweight” or “fat” or “unhealthy” or whatever term you choose is the result of a poor, unhealthy lifestyle over time.

Losing weight depends on the foods you consume. For example, a high-calorie breakfast and dinner can hinder progress.Check the food. You might adopt a healthier diet and continue eating three times a day, but with the proper food.

Weight increase is more likely to cause health problems as you become older. That’s why I decided to treat myself and follow these ideas for fat-burning dishes. It was difficult for me to lose weight at my age, but with this, I made real progress.

No, your metabolism will slow down.

Take small meals for breakfast (400 calories), lunch (400 calories), an evening snack (100 calories), and dinner by 8:30 p.m. (300 calories). Do 30 minutes of jogging in the evening and 30 minutes of yoga in the morning.

Eating two meals each day is bad since it slows your metabolism and prevents you from losing weight.

If you want to reduce weight, eat muesli every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

You can start with a hearty breakfast, a light lunch and a single bowl of muesli for evening using only cow milk. That is a superior practice for reducing weight quickly.
