I therefore lost weight by exercising and tracking my calories. On the other hand, I have a family member who has arthritis and is a finicky eater. They are considering employing something similar to Slim Fast, which I find dubious but do like that it can simplify and de-stress calorie counting.
Has anyone used meal replacements successfully here? Did you utilize them sporadically in addition to whatever else you were doing, or did you follow a plan? Any narrative would be fantastic.

For me, breakfast is the hardest meal of the day. I believe my constant want for sugar at morning stems from the mental health medications I take right before bed. I have to get something in me before I GET to work and face the temptation of the cafeteria and the vending machines if I don’t have time to have my typical breakfast before leaving for work. The shakes are easy to consume in the car and sufficiently sweet and filling.
