Is balsamic vinegar harmful?

I recently switched to using balsamic vinegar instead of olive oil, and it’s been delicious! It’s also quicker because I need fewer spices in my salad and it’s lower in calories. For example, today’s salad had just 2 tomatoes, half a cucumber, a whole onion, some spinach, and balsamic vinegar. I tend to pour about 6 tablespoons on each salad, but I don’t drink what’s left at the bottom.

Yesterday was fine, but today my stomach feels a bit upset. I’m not sure if it’s from the whole onion or the acidity of the vinegar. I’m wondering if what I’m doing is okay health-wise—is this balsamic vinegar too good to be true?

In moderation, no! We believe that “good” and “great” balsamic vinegar are best used to compliment other meals, especially salads, vegetables, and cheeses.

A decent quality IGP certified balsamic vinegar is an excellent way to enhance the flavour of a variety of foods. That is why it is commonly served with extra virgin olive oil in most Italian restaurants.

hi folks.
balsamic vinegar is a safe and flavorful condiment when used in moderation. If you have any concerns, consult your doctor to determine an appropriate amount based on your dietary requirements and health conditions.

All vinegars, including balsamic, are safe to eat at 6T. Yes, as is the case with nearly all significant dietary changes, the acidity may momentarily produce intestinal problems.
