Not everyone can have a flat stomach, no matter how hard they work or how well they eat" is it a fable or a fact?

I’ve been doing great with slow, sustainable weight loss through clean eating and regular exercise for about a year now. I’m 5’4", 130 pounds, female, muscular build, eating around 1400 calories a day, and exercising vigorously for 1-2 hours. Despite my progress, I still have a stomach pudge. My girlfriend mentioned that some people just aren’t meant to have a flat tummy. Is there any truth to this? Can I eventually achieve a flat stomach with persistence, or is it possible that my body’s “fittest point” includes a bit of pudge? Any tips to help me get there? :muscle:

Hi Kelly, It’s a fact. Genetics, body type, and factors like age and hormonal balance can affect abdominal fat distribution, making it difficult for some people to achieve a flat stomach despite diet and exercise efforts.
