Water and slim fast is the only thing that helps me lose weight!

I realized I need to drink more water, aiming for a gallon a day since I already drink 40 ounces at a time. SlimFast helps me lose 3 lbs each time, so I’ll try it for the next 3 weeks with one big chicken meal at dinner. I’m still kicking my soda habit using Mio sports drinks and “Crush” flavored water packets. I used to drink Milo all day, but it made me shaky and crash, so now I limit it to one serving a day, sometimes three if needed for energy.

I’m excited for this new diet plan and already craving water, so I must be dehydrated. Drinking water is my top goal. I had coffee first thing today but will switch to water throughout the day. I’ll stick to my workout plan, doing 3 days a week, and go for daily walks to stay active this summer instead of staying indoors.

Thanks for reading! Has water helped you lose weight? I might try the gallon challenge!

Staying hydrated reduces water retention and bloating. It can curb appetite and prevent dehydration, often mistaken for hunger. However, excess water won’t offset overeating. Cutting calories helps burn fat for energy. Exercise burns calories and boosts appetite, requiring adequate caloric intake for energy replenishment. More muscle mass boosts metabolism for increased calorie burning.
