What are some tips for increasing protein intake?

I’m a 30-year-old male attempting to shed fat. My recommended daily protein intake is 157g.

What foods, other than the obvious, can I include to meet my protein goals?

I’m not a vegetarian and prefer to eat chicken over fish.

To expand on this subject, do you all have any ways for getting enough protein while staying under your calorie allowance? I need to stay around 1500-1600 calories per day.

Whey protein powder for milkshakes. Chicken. Steak. Eggs. Egg whites. Protein bars. Turkey breast. Protein yoghurt.

The ultimate “hack” is definitely protein powder. A somewhat inexpensive and simple method for obtaining 20+ grammes in a short period of time with minimal preparation.

Greek yoghurt with whey protein powder. My breakfast alone is generally around 40 grammes. You should not have too many problems.

What about hacks? Bro, get your protein in, just look for different sources and figure out what’s best for you. You don’t have to overthink everything.

The protein powder I use has 62 grammes of protein. I got it at Walmart, but the label broke off and I can’t remember the brand. I generally mix with 1% milk for dinner. I don’t exercise, therefore I take protein powder as a meal replacement, sometimes for breakfast and sometimes for dinner. Most of the time, I have Greek yoghurt for breakfast, chicken and vegetables for lunch, a protein shake for dinner, or whatever I make. Today I’ll be making spaghetti, so that will be my main meal for the day. I prepare pasta once in a while because I don’t consume many carbohydrates.

I supplement with whey protein powder and cottage cheese/Greek yoghurt snacks to increase my protein intake while losing weight between meals, and it’s really helped.

Do you drink coffee?

To add additional protein to my diet, I’ve been using Premier Protein shakes as a creamer in coffee. A game changer.
