A 7-year-old asked me why I’m so chubby. I had no idea what to say.
“I ate a 7-year-old last night.”
—My response to my own 7-year-old, probably.

This is the ultimate comeback
Kids are harsh, man. If you’re healthy or happy with yourself, don’t stress over it.
One time my friend’s younger sibling asked me if I was pregnant. I was 15 and just a little above a healthy weight. Kids have no filter.
Good thing the kid didn’t know the word ‘obese.’ Toughen up.
Lose weight if you want to or if you feel unhealthy, not just to make other people happy, especially kids.
If you’re content, let it go.

But sometimes stuff like this is the best push for change.
Yeah, kids are brutally honest.
One of my teenage students once asked if I was pregnant. That was my wake-up call.
You should’ve shot back with, ‘Why are you so short and weak?’
‘Because I eat too much,’ plain and simple.
I would’ve said, ‘Why is a U with a tail?’ Confuse them.
Are you doing any weightlifting? That helps a lot.
