Are scallops that are seared healthy?

I have been following a diet for a month now, and I think I am doing fairly well. Tonight, I am going out to eat, and it will be my first time doing so since I started the diet.

The healthiest dish on the menu that caught my eye was seared scallops, asparagus, and grits in a brown butter sauce. I am going to give my wife the grits and request the dish sans the sauce.

Based on my research, it appears that scallops are low in calories and healthful. However, I am not sure if grilled scallops are unhealthy. Does cooking fish or meat that has been seared become unhealthy? Would be interested in hearing your opinions.

Seared scallops are a nutritious option! Nutrients can be retained in seared meats and seafood. Eat with confidence and enjoy your food.

Scallops are a good source of protein, with a 3-ounce serving providing around 20 grams of protein. Protein is essential for muscle repair, growth, and overall health.

OMG… Now I want scallops - seared with lemon juice. They are the best. You could always call the restaurant and ask if they could substitute a small green salad for the grits, too.
