Does sweating means I am burning calories?

Hey everyone,

I have been using the Bionic Gym for the past two weeks (just to clarify, I’m not associated with them), and after each session, I’m completely soaked in sweat. I have noticed that I have lost about 3 pounds during this time (from 160 to 156). However, I have also made a slight adjustment to my diet by cutting down on snacks after dinner.

I am curious whether my recent weight loss is primarily due to using the Bionic Gym, so I can decide whether to keep using it. Or could it be mostly because of my diet change?

Thanks.

Hi there,Sweating itself doesn’t directly burn a measurable amount of calories. Sweating is your body’s natural way to regulate temperature by releasing water and salt that evaporates on your skin, cooling you down.

It’s wonderful to learn of your success using the Bionic Gym and changing your diet. Exercise and nutrition are two common elements that affect weight reduction. Both probably had an impact on your outcomes. Consider sticking to your present regimen and keeping an eye on any subsequent changes in your weight and general level of fitness to gauge how successful the gym is.

Sweating does not burn calories, but sweating out enough liquid causes you to lose water weight. However, the loss is just temporary.

Sweating is primarily a mechanism your body uses to regulate its temperature. When your internal temperature rises, your body produces sweat, which evaporates and cools you down.
