How long did it take you to lost 20lbs?

I had to stop taking Adderall, which always helped suppress my appetite. I’ve realized that I often eat for comfort or fun, but it usually makes me feel worse afterward. After binge eating for a while, none of my clothes fit, and now I’m at 145 lbs. My goal is to reach 125 lbs. I’ve started a nutrition plan with 1500-1700 calories a day and regular workouts. I’ve already lost two pounds, likely water weight, but it’s a start. I feel like I can lose the weight quickly, but I know the general guideline is 1-2 pounds per week. What are other people’s experiences with this?

Took me about 5-6 months to lose 23 lbs . I used MFP and aimed for a weekly average calorie intake of 1,200. I’d say it took maybe 10-15 lbs to start noticing a difference on my face. My double chin is almost gone now  I miss my boobs but I definitely don’t miss the extra chin!

Am not sure but, there are several variables that affect how long it takes to lose 20 pounds, including metabolism, nutrition, level of exercise, and personal health issues. Usually, losing one to two pounds per week is a safe and sustainable weight reduction rate. Losing twenty pounds would take, at this rate, ten to twenty weeks. Instead of focusing on short fixes, it is critical to approach weight loss with a focus on healthy lifestyle modifications. Creating a customized and successful weight loss strategy can also be aided by speaking with a healthcare practitioner.

I managed to shed 20 pounds in just under 3 months, which is quite a personal achievement for me. By fasting and maintaining a calorie deficit, I was able to achieve it.
