I need help since I eat like a toddler

Hello, I went to the doctor today and looked at the scale. I’m at my heaviest. I don’t exercise and can’t eat veggies because the texture and taste bother me (luckily, I enjoy all types of fruits). I’d be willing to start cautiously working out at home. I have toddler-like taste receptors and overwhelming appetites for sweets. Also, I’ve been really depressed and upset, which has led to my eating even more. Anyone have any suggestions on how to get started? I just feel so down and want to hide in my room forever.

I experience severe sugar cravings and am unhappy if I am unable to satisfy them due to a blood sugar imbalance known as hypoglycemia. It might be worth looking into!

Most individuals, particularly vegans, season everything they eat. That applies to everyone I know, at least. Most likely, all you need to do is go spice shopping.

I use only olive oil, salt, and pepper as a vegan. I really enjoy grilled vegetables. I believe you simply need to make some decisions about what is most important to you and then go forward. I believe that vegetables taste great even when they aren’t cooked.

When you stay at home, you become bored and start eating in your spare time. The ideal solution is to occupy yourself during the day with activities such as gym sessions, socialising with friends, or even starting a side business. I feel that staying distracted helps you lose weight.

I just don’t have junk in my flat; if I really want junk, I’ll have to stroll to the corner store or whatever I feel like. 80% of the time, I am too lazy to get up and get it :woman_shrugging:t2:.

There is nothing wrong with your tastebuds You just have to realise that vegetables don’t actually taste that good, but you need to eat them if you really want to lose weight. You have to be ready to forego solely eating items you like or put effort into preparing the vegetables to make them good.

It makes no difference what you consume as long as you are in a deficit. People will tell you that you can’t lose weight unless you’re eating ‘healthy’, but you can. It’s not as easy, and you won’t be able to eat as much of most things because they’ll have more calories than vegetables, but as long as you’re in a calorie deficit, you’ll lose weight.

I am the same as you, I limit my sweets to once a day and a tiny piece, and as for vegetables, I also don’t like the flavour, so I just blend some up and add milk and protein powder and gulp, let me know if that helps.

My problem is that I can’t control myself. If I see a delicious treat, I usually always finish it. I’m not sure whether there is anything that helps with cravings.
