I just want to give advice and create new acquaintances. Please reach out if you have any queries!
What did you do to push through your weariness and lack of energy?
I RESTED! Do not be terrified of “refeed” days. Where you consume maintenance calories throughout the day to replenish your energy and glycogen stores in your muscles. When your body asks for it, please rest.
What was the starting point, and what kept you going? Do you believe your current diet and lifestyle are sustainable enough to keep the weight off for good?
My starting point was 315 pounds! The small victories definitely helped me keep going. I firmly believe that my diet is entirely sustainable. Considering I’ve lost all of my weight in around three months.
I have stubborn belly fat, and even though I’ve shed almost 20 kilogrammes since starting, it still hurts me a lot. Second, how did you know that reducing 100 pounds was sufficient?
So, scientifically, there is no established strategy to spot reduce fat; instead, you must continue to drop fat/weight in order to truly shred down. Personally, 100 pounds isn’t enough for me; I started another trim last Sunday. I want to be around 195 lbs by Christmas.
When it comes to low carb vs low fat, what has worked best for you over time?
Honestly, I don’t think they’re sustainable. Furthermore, when you resume eating carbs and fats, your weight rises.
My best advice is to count your calories, weigh your meals specifically, and enter it into a calorie tracker like “my fitness pal”. I prefer a high protein diet since it keeps me full for longer. I also aim to make my foods as large as possible using things like leafy greens and loads of veggies to get the most out of my calories.
How did you start? What were the initial steps you made on your weight loss journey?
I just started moving more, walking, trying to hit 10k steps. That turned into lifting weights.
Weighing my food was a game Changer, I started to experiment with different foods and how I could make them low calorie but still taste amazing
How did you deal with urges and the need to consciously decide what you ate during the day? Those are the things I struggle with the most.
I adore this question! I didn’t battle with urges. I ATE! There are numerous replacement options available. Take ice cream, for example. Nicks, Halo Top, and Bryers Carb Smart are all available at varying prices.
