I was just curious about anyone’s thoughts on the potential of losing weight without going to the gym and sticking to a decent diet by simply purchasing a treadmill and doing basic at-home workouts without the need for any other equipment.
Where I live, gym memberships can be somewhat pricey. While I could theoretically purchase a treadmill for a decent price, I am not sure that is a practical scenario. The concept of utilizing a treadmill alone, along with eating a healthy diet and doing basic at-home workouts without the need for additional equipment, appeals to me because I get quite anxious when I exercise outside or in front of other people. If this suggestion is feasible or not, please let me know.

I used to go to the gym five days a week and spend an hour walking on the treadmill. then began to run and eventually jog. After the gym closed due to the epidemic, I purchased an inexpensive treadmill from Facebook Marketplace and have been using it ever since. I have only lost 139 pounds since 2018 thanks to myfitnesspal and treadmill.
To put it succinctly, you can lose weight with just a treadmill and CICO.
You can totally lose weight without a gym. I bought a treadmill and did simple home workouts, and it worked great for me. Just staying consistent with your treadmill and eating well can definitely help. Plus, working out at home means no gym fees or awkward gym moments.
I understand the appeal of working out at home, especially when gym memberships are expensive and exercising in public causes anxiety. Using a treadmill combined with a healthy diet and basic at-home workouts can indeed be an effective way to lose weight. Regular treadmill use can help with cardiovascular fitness and calorie burning, while bodyweight exercises at home can build strength and improve overall fitness. This approach is practical and cost-effective, allowing you to exercise privately and manage your weight effectively without the need for additional equipment or gym memberships.
