I am a freshman who has been maintaining my weight for the previous three years after losing 35 pounds, but I am ready to buckle down and drop more in a healthy way. I’m ready to return to college for the spring, and I’m wondering what decent snacks and foods to keep in my dorm would be! Currently, I keep protein smoothies, tuna packs, and chomps beef sticks in my dorm, which are probably the healthiest items I own. I’m looking for additional diversity and was wondering what you would recommend. Thanks!
I am also a freshman in college who is trying to lose weight! In my dorm, I keep a variety of protein bars, protein shakes, no-sugar fruit cups/applesauce, frozen Ezekiel bread, laughing cow/babybel cheese, fresh fruit, skinny pop, almonds, carrots, hummus, green yoghurt, and frozen vegetables.
Yoghurt, quick oats (low or no sugar), string cheese and hummus.
I consume halos, smartfood white cheddar popcorn (100 calorie bags), motts granny smith applesauce, dole mandarin oranges, yasso bars, goldfish, baked cheetos, sugar-free jelly, grapes, and strawberries. My diet consists primarily of snacks because I despise cooking. But I stay around 1500 calories and have shed about 30 pounds since late October.
If you enjoy cottage cheese, you will benefit from its high protein content. You may also have sugar-free custard cups (for dessert desires) and then select a vegetable you enjoy for crunch. I enjoy sugar snap peas. Cucumbers are great because they can be cut into slices and dipped in hummus. Good luck! I hope you enjoy your classes!
Do you own a microwave? popcorn. Purchase a silicone popper, cheap kernels, and popcorn spice.
