Hi there! I’m new here, so please be patient with me! My boyfriend and I both work in movies, and we love going to the cinema together. We always end up buying soda and popcorn and enjoying our time there. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas for healthier snacks to bring to the movies?
It might sound unusual, but in most theaters close to me, there are tables stocked with butter and salt for popcorn, as well as jalapeños, pickles, and onions for hot dogs and hamburgers. Instead of opting for popcorn, I usually request a water cup and fill it with jalapeños and pickles to munch on during the movie.
You don’t even have to eat at all when in the movies if you don’t usually feel hungry and the eating is purely out of habit.
Maybe just bring a bottle of water to be sipping through.
My all-time healthy snack to bring to the movies is Greek yoghurt mixed with banana slices and cinnamon. You can never go wrong with this.
Are you even hungry? Would you have a snack if you were not watching a movie? Eat to satisfy your hunger, not out of habit. Road trips and films appear to be two situations in which people entirely forget this.
Some examples include fruit smoothies, frozen grapes, raw vegetables with hummus, edamame, air-popped popcorn with salt or seasoning, Greek yogurt mixed with banana slices and cinnamon, dried apple chips, or small pieces of toasted whole grain bread topped with low-fat cheese and fruit.
Folks just eat for the sake I guese
