Has anyone experimented with the 12-3-30 treadmill workout?

Hello Guys, I’ve been noticing it everywhere lately. Occasionally, I use the treadmill at the gym to warm up, but I also have one at home.

For those unfamiliar, the routine involves setting the incline to 12 and the speed to 3, and maintaining it for 30 minutes. It’s claimed to be as effective as running but with less impact on your joints, which is particularly beneficial for heavier individuals.

Despite feeling like my endurance has improved, I doubt I could sustain the full 30 minutes at a 12 incline. Has anyone here given it a try?

Hey @CuteFigga! Yeah, I’ve tried the 12-3-30 treadmill workout. I found it tough at first too, but with practice, my endurance improved. I advise you to just hang in there.

For months, my wife’s colleague combined this with eating healthier, and she shed 40 pounds. She wasn’t very big before, but now she’s really thin and still keeps it up. I think the key is doing all the other lifestyle changes with it

If you can’t do it for the full 30 minutes, do it at an incline you CAN do it at, then work your way up.
