Hey folks…
I recently started weight lifting as a hobby and to lose weight. I’ve been focusing mostly on squats with weights and some curls. I’m enjoying it, but I’m wondering if weight lifting is actually effective for weight loss. Can anyone share their experiences or advice on how well weight lifting works for shedding pounds? Any tips on maximizing weight loss while lifting would also be appreciated. Thanks
Weight lifting is frequently seen as just a muscle building activity, but it is also one of the most effective ways to burn calories and boost metabolism, making it a powerful tool for weight loss.
Hi!
Absolutely! Weight lifting is often misunderstood as just a way to build muscle, but it has so many benefits beyond that.
Not only does it help with muscle growth, but it’s also a fantastic way to burn calories and enhance your metabolism.
This means that even after your workout, your body continues to burn calories at a higher rate. It’s a great addition to any weight loss strategy!
Before influencers were everywhere, I remember one who lost weight by weight lifting.
