What free calorie counting app do you use?

I reinstalled MyFitnessPal because I liked how easy it was to scan food. But now they’re asking for money for what was once free.

I lost 6 pounds by switching to salads and smaller portions for lunch. But I have more weight to lose and I’ll need to count calories eventually. I do not have a food scale, but I usually eat prepackaged salads or protein shakes with barcodes, which should be easy to scan.

Also, should I eat back the calories I burn from exercise? I know you can’t exercise away a bad diet.

Try FatSecret. The app is good and easy to use. Its free version has what you need, and the premium version has extra features.
I like how it shows all my food stuff for the day in the diary without ads bothering me. It opens straight to the diary, which is great.
Entering food is a bit tricky at first, but it’ll get easier.

I have been using Nutritionix Track for a very long time and I can confidently say that it works excellently.
It is available on both iOS and Android making it compatible.
The app offers a free basic version, but for I use a premium subscription where I pay $5.99 per month which is fairly cheap, unlike other apps.
