I’m struggling with stress eating and hoping to get some advice or hear about others’ experiences. Whenever I’m stressed, I find myself eating compulsively and can’t seem to stop. I’ve tried various solutions like drinking herbal tea and finding other coping mechanisms, but nothing has worked for me so far. I even tried Slim coffee, which has appetite-suppressing properties, but I ended up drinking it while eating!
I’m looking for any effective strategies or tips to manage stress eating better. What has worked for you? Are there any particular techniques or approaches that have helped you curb stress-induced eating?
unlike you when I’m stressed i loose appetite and cant eat enough…hint is i to relax before eating a little rest then keep myself busy in so us to gain urge for my next meal.
I’ve struggled with stress eating for a while and tried various methods like herbal tea and appetite suppressants without much success. What finally helped me was keeping a food diary to become more aware of my triggers, and practicing mindful eating to slow down and savor each bite. I also found that regular exercise, even just a daily walk, significantly reduced my stress levels and, consequently, my urge to eat compulsively. Connecting with a support group and talking openly about my struggles provided much-needed encouragement. These strategies have gradually helped me manage stress eating better. Hope this helps!
